Hi! I'm Misty Choate.
I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, maker, and lifelong creative. I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was constantly drawing, painting, crafting, and dreaming up new ideas. Looking back, I realize I was already thinking like a designer long before I knew what graphic design was.
For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked professionally in graphic design, creating everything from illustrations and patterns to packaging, products, logos, books, catalogs, and marketing materials. I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2010, but much of what inspires my work still comes from the same place it always has—curiosity, creativity, and seeing possibilities everywhere.
My favorite projects are the ones I can build from the ground up. I love starting with a rough sketch or an idea in my head, researching possibilities, working through the details, and watching that idea become something real. Whether I’m designing a product, creating an illustration, or developing an entire visual collection, I enjoy finding that balance between creativity, functionality, and what the client ultimately needs.
